Alnwick Castle Trip on 25.10.2026 live at Parkinson Building, Leeds on Sunday 18 October 2026. Compare dates, starting prices and buy official tickets below.

Nestled deep in the stunning scenery of Alnwick, Northumberland, this castle has over 700 years of history. It was a key point during the turbulent times of the English Civil War, the Wars of the Roses and various border conflicts with Scotland. Now, it is the second largest inhabited castle in England, second only to Windsor Castle. The State Rooms form one of the finest Victorian sequences of Victorian aristocratic interiors in the country, including a library of over 16,000 books. You may recognise the castle's exteriors, as it featured on not one, but two of the Harry Potter films. Should you choose to join us, we will meet at the Parkinson Building steps at 7:15am to depart at 7:30am. We aim to arrive at Alnwick Castle by 10.00am, dependant upon traffic. This trip is not guided, so you are free to explore independently. We will board the coach again at 4.45pm, to arrive back in Leeds at approximately 7:40 pm, dependant upon traffic. Your ticket includes transport to and from Alnwick Castle, as well as entry to the house and grounds.  On the day itself, please remember the following: Pick-up and drop-off will be at Parkinson Steps. A trip leader will be present and they will be your first point of contact on the day.  Please contact the trip leader if you are going to be late for the coach at pick-up or drop-off.
