  SCIENTIST performs 'Scientists Rids The World Of The Evil Curse of The Vampires' LIVE at Stroud Brewery for a Matinée show on Saturday 27 February (Scientist on at 3pm). The legendary Jamaican producer recreates his landmark 1981 dub reggae album in full live + more. King Tubby protégé Scientist helped pioneer the dub genre in the late 1970's at Studio One gaining a reputation for his distinctive mixing style. Scientist soon became the prinicipal engineer at Channel One releasing a series of classic albums in the early 1980's such as Scientist meets the Space Invaders, Scientific Dub, Scientists wins the World Cup, Scientist Encounters Pac-Man, Scientist and Jammy Strike Back and, of course, Scientist Rids the World of the Evil Curse of the Vampires. Fun fact: five of his songs from the album Scientist Rids the World of the Evil Curse of the Vampires were used as the playlist songs on the K-Jah radio station in the 2001 video game Grand Theft Auto 3.
