Somatiqi is the studio and live project of producer and drummer Mike Perry, drawing influences from bass music, dubstep, DnB, IDM, jungle, hip-hop and psychedelia. Incorporating uptempo dancefloor rhythms, experimental sound design and abstract field recordings, expect an energetic and immersive exploration of contemporary electronic styles. Performed live as a collective, the project features Faye Thompson on Alto Sax / Effects, Safiyya Babbio on Keys / Synths and Mike Perry on Drums / Electronics.
