The Local Heroes · Newcastle Upon Tyne · Dec 18, 2026

Skip the madness — spend Black Eye Friday the right way. While the Bigg Market descends into its annual carnage on December 18th, the canny ones among you will be heading to The Cluny for a night that's proper class.  The Local Heroes are the North East's hottest new act, flying the flag for all things Geordie and some special guests will be joining them for this Christmas show. With big choruses, massive sing-alongs, and a setlist that reads like a love letter to the North East — Lindisfarne, Sam Fender, The Animals, Sting, Dire Straits, Jimmy Nail, Geordie, The Police, and a few traditional folk belters thrown in for good measure, this is going to be a cracker! "Best night out I've had in years — the whole room was bouncing," raves one fan, while another declares, "It felt like every song was written just for us — pure magic."  So line your stomach with a Greggs pasty, get a few bottles of Dog in, and come and sing your heart out with your fellow Geordies. This is music made for packed rooms and big smiles — forget the chaos outside and get yourselves down to The Cluny. Howay the lads! 🍺
