  Celebrate Mexican Independence Day with Mestizo at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms on 12 September. Food: Authentic Mexican street food, including tacos, chilaquiles and Mexican helado. Drinks: A specially curated cocktail menu, alongside a selection of premium tequila and mezcal bottles. Entertainment: Live performances throughout the evening featuring DJ Gordo, Mariachi, and traditional Mexican dancers. Programme: Guest arrival from 18:00, followed by the Independence Civic Act (El Grito), live music, performances, food, drinks and dancing. Families welcome earlier in the evening. Strictly 18+ after 22:00.  Agenda   18:00 - 19:00 Doors Open · Mexican Food Hall · DJ & Mariachi The celebration begins with our Mexican food hall and bars open from 18:00. DJ Gordo sets the atmosphere with cumbia, banda and Latin classics, followed by roaming mariachi performing traditional Mexican favourites throughout the venue. 19:00 - 20:00 Folklore · Live Music · The Build-Up to El Grito Experience a colourful Mexican folklore procession followed by a live performance from Matil Duo. From 19:45, the atmosphere changes as we prepare for the most important moment of the evening — El Grito de Independencia. 20:00 - 21:00 El Grito · Mariachi Celebration · Adrian Garcia At 20:00, join us for the official El Grito de Independencia, the Mexican National Anthem and the traditional cries of ¡Viva México! The ceremony flows straight into a full mariachi celebration, followed by Adrian Garcia live with special guest Nicole Silva. 21:00 - 22:00 Mexican Live Music The celebration continues with Adrian Garcia, followed by traditional norteña music and a live performance from Alan Luján, with DJ Gordo keeping the party moving between performances. 22:00 - 23:00 Live Performances · Víctor García Alan Luján continues the late-night programme before Víctor García takes the stage for the final live performance of the evening. Last entry is at 22:30. 23:00 - 00:00 (+1 day) DJ Party · Mariachi Food Hall Finale The Grand Hall transforms into a dance floor with DJ Gordo. At 23:30, the mariachi return to the food hall for a final singalong among the stalls as the last tacos and dishes are served. 00:00 - 01:00 Late-Night Fiesta The food hall closes and everyone comes together in the Grand Hall for an uninterrupted late-night party with DJ Gordo. 01:00 - 02:00 Final Hour · DJ Gordo One last hour on the dance floor. Bar last orders are at 01:30, bars close at 01:45, and the celebration finishes at 02:00.
