Step inside the historic Altgeld Hall Castle at Northern Illinois University for the 2026 Dark Art & Oddities Con, November 14 & 15 in DeKalb, Illinois. Dark Art & Oddities Con brings together artists, makers, collectors, performers, paranormal personalities, authors, unusual exhibits, and lovers of everything strange, mysterious, macabre, and wonderfully uncommon. Explore a weekend filled with dark art and oddities vendors, special guests, live presentations, true crime, paranormal programming, interactive exhibits, film premieres, performances, hands-on workshops, and more throughout one of Northern Illinois University's most iconic buildings. Featured programming includes The Reptile Den Experience, lectures and presentations from our special guests, limited-capacity workshops, film screenings, live entertainment, and additional experiences throughout the weekend. General Admission includes access to the convention, vendor areas, exhibits, and included entertainment and programming for the selected day. Workshops and select After Hours experiences are optional ticketed add-ons and require General Admission during the initial ticket-sales period.
