Every generation builds upon the one before it. The artists, dreamers, and visionaries who came before us continue to shape the stories we tell, the stages we share, and the future we imagine. RISE celebrates that enduring legacy through four remarkable works by some of ballet's most influential voices. Featuring Darrell Grand Moultrie's Lineage, George Balanchine's Valse Fantaisie, Kevin Thomas' Rise, and a world premiere by Donald Byrd inspired by the Harlem Renaissance, the program explores the power of artistic inheritance, resilience, and renewal. From timeless masterworks to bold new creation, RISE is a celebration of the artists whose courage continues to redefine ballet and the generations who will carry it forward.
