Runs: September 5 - November 14, 2026 Who: Students in 6th through 12th grades When: Saturdays, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm; September 5th through November 14th (no class on October 17th for Fall Break) Cost: $300, all materials included.  Instructor: Zac Austin Join us onstage and take on the role of a professional actor! Scamp Company is our premier youth ensemble that will be building skills as a cohort to then mount a full one-act production in the spring. The program begins with a fall workshop in which students will work on monologues, scenes, and build their actor's toolkit. Students will develop their confidence, performance skills, and stage presence. The course will cultivate a sense of dedication to craft, respect for fellow artists, and joy in performing. The fall workshop will lead directly into the spring rehearsals and eventual performance run. New and experienced actors are all welcome! This session will conclude with a showcase on November 14th at 10:15 am Skills students will develop during this course: Audition preparedness Movement and gesture Performance and vocal skills Physical and collaborative storytellling Theatrical observation and listening Reinforcing the use of theatre terms and technologies Ensemble building and nurturing Please read The Scoundrel & Scamp Class Policy prior to registration.
